Setting a schedule for the length of time learners can access your quiz
FlexiQuiz enables you to set a 'user schedule' to set the number of days the learner can access your test.
The user schedule starts when the learner is sent or registers for the test. Learners will have different end dates if you share the quiz on different days.
How the user schedule works
You can set how many days the learner can access and complete your test. The time the user schedule starts depends on when you open and share your quiz.
Email invitation: Starts when you send the open quiz link to users.
Respondent portal: Starts when you assign an open quiz to the user.
Respondent portals—self registration: This starts when the user registers for their Respondent portal, which already has your quiz assigned.
Quiz link or QR code: Time starts when the user registers for the quiz and presses the start button.
For example, Lilly joins the company and is assigned a Respondent portal with her onboarding program. She has 21 days from the date of joining to complete the onboarding test. You can send Lilly an automatic reminder to complete her test, but after 21 days, she will not be able to access the test.
How to set the user schedule
- Log in to your FlexiQuiz account and create a new quiz or edit an existing one.
- Now go to the Configure screen and select General from the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down the page to Users schedule and tick the box.
- Now, enter the number of days learners can access your quiz.
- Once you are happy with your quiz, go to the Publish tab to share it with your learners.
All learners will now have the set number of days to view your learning content and complete any tests.
If learners try to access the quiz after the set time, they will see a message that says, "Quiz access has expired."
