Adding picture choice quiz questions

Picture choice is a multiple-choice question that allows test-takers to choose the correct response from images, pictures, or icons.

With FlexiQuiz, you can format the images in small, medium, large, or extra-large so they look great on any device, including laptops, tablets, and mobiles.

Picture choice questions can make a test look more visually attractive, so they are great for interactive quizzes, lead generation, learning languages, spelling tests, and more.

How to add a picture choice question to your quiz

1. To start, go to your quiz editor screen on an existing or new quiz.
2. To add the question, click Add Item and your question editor will appear.
3. Next to Question Type, select Picture Choice from the drop-down menu.
4. You can add your question to the Question box. Depending on your FlexiQuiz plan type, you can add images, text, video, and audio.
5. Go to the Options section to upload your images for the answer options.
6. Click Browse to select and upload your image.

7. You can add a label below the image by adding text in the box to the right.
8. To add more answer options, click Add Option.
9. You can also select the size of the image. Go to Display size and press the drop-down menu to select Extra large, Large, Medium or Small.
10. Then, set how many points you want to award for the students' responses. You can also choose not to award any points. Learn more about scoring your quiz.
Important! If you're awarding points for getting the whole question right, tick the Correct box next to the valid answer option.
11. Now select any formatting options, including setting the question to required, adding a question category, and sharing feedback.
12. Once you are happy with your question, click Save.
13. To view how the question looks in the quiz, click Preview on the top right.

Top tips for adding images to your question responses

The maximum file size for each image is 1 MB. You can reduce the size of the file using tools such as Tinypng

Allowable formats include jpeg, jpg, GMP, png.

The recommended dimension size of images is 500 px wide. We recommend that all images be the same size for a professional-looking quiz.
