With FlexiQuiz, you can effortlessly incorporate images in your quiz questions, answers, pages, and feedback, making a great-looking test.

This guide shows you how to upload and position an image within your quiz questions.

How to add images to your quiz

  1. Create a new quiz question from your editor screen or select any question you want to add an image to.
  2. Click on the Question box and add any question text.
  3. Now, click on the part of the page where you want to add the image – this can be at the top of the question, at the bottom, or between the text.
  4. From the menu, select the picture icon and it will open the image editor.

  6. Click the Choose image button to upload your image in a jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, or png format with a maximum size of 2 MB.
  7. Top tip! Keep the auto size box ticked so the FlexiQuiz system will automatically resize the image depending on the learner’s screen size.
  8. Once the image is uploaded, it will appear in the display box. Then click the Save button to add the image to your question.

  10. You can resize the image by clicking on it and dragging the corner to the relevant size.
  11. To align the image to the left, center, or right, click on More in the editor menu and then select the relevant alignment.
  12. Once you are happy with your question, press Save to add it to your quiz.
  13. Press Preview on the top right to view the image and check how the picture looks as part of your quiz.

Top tips to optimize the experience for quiz takers

The pictures may not download quickly if test takers have a slow internet connection. Here are some top tips to provide a good experience for your learners.

  • Condense the image file size: Choose from many great tools such as tiny png or compress jpeg.
  • Avoid using many features simultaneously, such as time limit per page, background images, and the progress bar.
  • Keep to a maximum of two images per page.
  • Images up to 800 PX wide look good.
