FlexiQuiz - Oil & Filter Service SOP/Basic

Be sure you have on proper PPE. (IE, Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, Gloves, ETC)

Be sure to use protective vehicle equipment (IE, Seat Covers, Floor Mats, Fender Covers ,ETC)

Notate any vehicle damage, warning lights, abnormal noises, etc.

Lift, raise or support the vehicle in a proper and safe manner.

Verify proper oil type, viscosity, filter and drain plug torque specs prior to starting.

Upon installing the orange marker cone under the hood, check the oil level prior to draining.

Inspect Drain plug and washer upon removal, replace as needed. Notate on work order.

Lubricate oil filter O ring with new oil prior to installation.

Properly torque oil drain plug and filter.

Install a small dab of oil drain plug paint where the plug and pan seal.

Fill engine oil to proper level, install oil fill cap and check level.

Start engine and inspect for leaks.

Reset Maintenance Light, install reminder sticker & remove orange cone.
